Leadership development stresses to future leaders the how and when of leading. This process teaches when to be a leader and when to be a follower, how to lead by example, and the dynamics of being a leader within a group. This involves teaching cooperation and the ability to motivate individuals through positive social influences. At the same time, this series of workshops, activities, and mentoring experiences also helps Project M.A.L.E. participants discover, define, and develop the leadership characteristics they already possess but may not have had an opportunity to display.
